Stewed Fruit Compote
Spiced Fruit Compote
This recipe is warming and easy to digest. This is a wonderful tridoshic breakfast on its own… or use as a sauce for muffins or pancakes.
- 2 cups seasonal fruit, cored and chopped 
- 1 prune 
- 2 cups water 
- 1 tbsp grated ginger 
- ¼ tsp cinnamon 
- ¼ tsp cardamom 
Place ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil over high heat. Turn down to simmer for 7 minutes. Serve warm.
