Spiced Oatmeal

SPICED OATMEAL

  • 2 cups water

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 tablespoon raisins

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder

  • 1 tablespoon honey

1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring the water to a boil. Stirring continuously, pour in the oats and then add the raisins and spices.

2. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the mixture reaches a smooth, creamy consistency, 7 to 9 minutes. 

3. Serve in a bowl with honey
