Shatavari Cashew Cups

A delicious experiment! I had a craving last night and this is what happened.

Nutty, buttery, sweet.

Shatavari Cashew Cups

METHOD

In a small saucepan, warm the fig preserves. Add the herbs, cacao powder, and salt.

Over a double boiler, stir cacao butter until completely melted. Add cashew butter and maple syrup and stir until smooth.

Lay 4-6 paper muffin cups on a tray and pour just enough cashew cacao butter to just cover the bottom of the cup. Place tray in the freezer for about 5 min.

Remove tray and scoop about 1 tsp of fig mixture into the cup. Top with 1 tsp ground pistachio. Pour cashew cacao butter over the top and put back in the freezer for another 5 min.

INGREDIENTS

Small piece of cacao butter

About 1/2 cup cashew butter

1 TBS maple syrup

1/2 cup fig preserves

1 tsp Ashwagandha

1 tsp Shatavari

1/2 tsp cardamom

pinch salt

1 tsp cacao powder

1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
